Goal: The objective of the course is to acquire basic knowledge on planning, preparation and realization of operational flows in production and service processes.
Outcome: After the course is over, the students will be trained to plan, monitor and control the process of realization of indirect production and provision of services.
Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
  1. Basic characteristics and aspects of the production process.
  2. Fundamentals of industrial organization and development of productive concepts.
  3. The role and location of production strategies in the strategic development of the company.
  4. Elements of the production process.
  5. Determining the optimal production volume.
  6. Market and technological properties of the product.
  7. Life expectancy and development of the new product.
  8. Production process stages.
  9. Production planning. Technological and operational preparation of production.
  10. Direct production.
  11. Control of realization of production and technological procedures in the process of production and services.
  12. Internal transport.
  13. Information production system.
  14. Manage production and the Internet.
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
  1. Preparation of tasks in the field of determination of the necessary capacities of production and services as well as the volume of production.
