Requirements:
Goal: Introducing students to the procedures of developing creativity, practical steps of transforming ideas into innovative projects, shaping entrepreneurial activities and starting their own business, all based on the application of engineering knowledge and technological procedures based on the application of information technologies, whether it is a small business venture or starting new business initiatives in a larger company.
Outcome: Understanding all phases starting from creative ideas, innovative projects, designing all plans to reduce business risk to presentation, applying for financing and starting up start-ups. Training for the use of software tools for successful implementation of all stages and understanding of all the results in the analysis, modeling and simulation of successful business, as well as control of the implementation of business plans.
Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
  1. Introductory lecture - importance and role of entrepreneurship in each country's business;
  2. Development of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship;
  3. Choosing a Competitive Business Model and Sustainability Analysis;
  4. Creating a business strategy;
  5. Application of software and modern technologies in realization and control of realization of the plan;
  6. Creating a marketing plan;
  7. Preparation of a financial plan;
  8. Colloquium;
  9. Creating a business plan;
  10. Creating effective presentations and applying for funding;
  11. Starting a business;
  12. Engineering, communication and business skills;
  13. Patent, Licensing and Certifications;
  14. Colloquium;
  15. Presentation and defense of student projects.
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
  1. Laboratory exercises in a computer classroom where the method units from lectures are supported by examples from practice and stimulate students' independent work, I apply certain software tools, especially for the preparation of a financial and marketing plan as part of a business plan.
