Goal:The objective of the course is to get better insight into the methodology and application of appropriate methods and techniques of applicable and scientific research. Students will use theoretical underpinnings to find critically review literature relevant to their scientific field and determine how research findings can be used in forming their master thesis.
Outcome:To enable students to successfully select and define topics, as well as planning and organization in writing and oral presentation of scientific-professional and specialist papers. Upon completing this course, each student will be able to understand research terminology, demonstrate knowledge of research processes, critically analyze published research using print and online databases, employ formats for citations of print and electronic materials, identify, explain, compare, and prepare the key elements of a research proposal and report.
