Requirements: Computer skills.
Goal: Train students with basic Internet technologies and enable them to independently create basic presentations on the Internet, including a flexible display.
Outcome: Students understand and are able to use technology and tools to independently create presentations on the Internet.
Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
  1. Basic concepts: networks, topology and layers.
  2. Internet, services and protocols.
  3. HTML Basics.
  4. CSS-based formatting.
  5. Selectors and declarations.
  6. Working with style classes. CSS inheritance.
  7. Fixed, elastic, fluid and hybrid design.
  8. Review of the first part of the material.
  9. Responsive web design.
  10. Works with media inquiries and customize the screen width.
  11. XHTML, the basics of XML technology.
  12. Basics of JavaScript language.
  13. Object model document.
  14. Review of the other part of the material.
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
  1. HTML syntax and simple pages.
  2. CSS selectors and declarations. Application of styles.
  3. Introducing new HTML5 structural and other elements.
  4. Working on a flexible design.
  5. Placing an application on the Internet, service features, and maintenance tools.
