Requirements:
Goal: Training students to use standard application software and engage in digital society.
Outcome: Students will understand the principles of using the application software and will be able to use word processors, cross-calculators and presentations, to use basic Internet services and to combine the application of different programs.
Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
  1. Introductory lecture (the organization and content of the course).
  2. Entering and editing text, formatting text, characters, paragraphs and pages.
  3. Advanced word processing techniques. Embedding objects in the text.
  4. Tables. Equation.
  5. Presentations. Basic rules to create and display presentations; making slide.
  6. Presentations. Handling components slide. Installation of object. Animation.
  7. Spreadsheets. Basic concepts.
  8. Edit cell content, editing a worksheet; work principle.
  9. Formatting Spreadsheets. Examples.
  10. Functions; basic application techniques.
  11. Diagrams. Database. Advanced techniques.
  12. Combined use of different programs.
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
  1. Practical training program follows the lecture.
