Contents of the course
Introductory considerations on the energy of the Sun.Organization and content of the subject. Basic concepts of renewable and non-renewable energy sources.
Forms of the use of solar energy. Direct use of solar energy. Conversion of solar energy into heat energy (solar collectors). Conversion of solar energy into electricity (photovoltaic effect). Calculation of direct, diffused and reflected radiation components.
The dependence of the parameters of the photovoltaic panel on the temperature. The degree of utilization of photovoltaic panels depending on the material from which it was built. Filling factor and MPPT photovoltaic cell.
Measurement of the characteristic values of solar energy for a specific location in the design of photovoltaic systems. Types of photovoltaic systems.
Technical-economic analysis of photovoltaic systems. Design of photovoltaic systems in island work. Design of photovoltaic systems connected to the electricity distribution network.
