Requirements:
Goal: The aim of the program is to introduce the students with basic theoretical knowledge and practical approaches in the field of computer graphics.
Outcome: After successful completion of this course, students should be able to effectively use selected commercial software in the field of computer graphics, and to follow technological improvements.
Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
  1. Interactive computer graphics.
  2. Graphic outputs.
  3. Input device technologies.
  4. Stereoscopy. Colors. Image file formats.
  5. 2D geometric transformations.
  6. Rasterization. Bresenham's algorithms. DDA.
  7. Fractals. Geometry: point and line.
  8. Polygon filling.
  9. Area filling.
  10. Clipping.
  11. Curves. Hermit's curves.
  12. Bezier's curves. B-splines. NURBS.
  13. 3D transformations and projections.
  14. Hidden lines. Morfing. Z-buffer.
  15. OpenGL. GLUT.
Practical instruction (Problem solving sessions/Lab work/Practical training):
  1. Tuition is in compliance to the curriculum (Gimp, Inkscape, Stencyl, OpenGL).
