Goal:Achieving theoretical knowledge in regulation of electronic business with special attention given to the official legislative and sublegislative acts and strategies of developing this matter in the Republic of Serbia.
Outcome:Enabling the students to apply legal regulations linked to e- business. Practical qualifications in creating different types of electronic documentation (electronic contracts, electronic documents in the process of e-payments). Learning about copyright protection and protection of client data.
Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
The term informational (digital) society. Regulation in context of digitalizing the society and all its aspects.
EU strategies of development, the digital agenda. The vision. Prirorities in the process of increasing the digital literacy of the society.
The digital agenda in Serbia. Strategies of digitalizing the society in the Republic of Serbia by 2020.
The strategy of developing e-communication in the Republic of Serbia by 2020. RFS (radio-frequency spectar) regualtions
Relevant international regulatory bodies. The international union for telecomunications, ITU-T. The basic tasks and organisational structure.
The electronic document. Making of an electronic document. The original and the copy. Authority and proving power.
Technology of timestamps. Legislation on the electronic document.
Midterm test 1.
The security of electronic transactions. The electronic signature. The digital certificate. PKI infrastructure.
Electronic signature legislation.
E-commerce. The necessety of informing, commercial message. Contracts in electronic form. Obligations of the services provider.
High-tech (cyber) crime. Traditional crime in cyber space.
Crime that cannot exist out of cyber space.
Computer crime in the criminal legislation of the Republic of Serbia.
