Outcome:Understanding of signal analysis and signal processing techniques that are used in contemporary communication systems. Gaining fundamental knowledge for understanding more advanced courses in the field of telecommunications and signal processing.
Contents of the course
Theoretical instruction:
Introductory lecture (organization and course syllabus, relation to other courses).
Telecommunication system model. Information, measure of the information.
Classification of signals, time domain and frequency domain signal representation, spectral analysis of continuous signals.
Sampling theorem and spectral analysis of discrete time signals.
